Florence’s gardens

Discover the city's green spaces

If you are looking for a moment of relaxation and wish to discover the city's green spaces, Florence offers you the possibility of visiting magnificent and evocative historic gardens.

  1. First of all, of course, the Boboli Garden, part of the Pitti Palace palace, a stone's throw from the Ponte Vecchio.

  2. Let's continue with the Bardini Garden: with a unique panorama over Florence, ornamental plants and orchards, the Baroque staircase and the English-style wood. Not to be missed!

  3. Near Piazzale Michelangelo, the Iris Garden is the only botanical garden dedicated to this variety in the whole of Europe. Another important feature: the wonderful view over the city!

  4. Not far away, the Rose Garden, a balcony over the city centre, where you can rest after a day of discovery, open all year round to enjoy some peace and quiet!

- The Boboli Garden is located in Piazza De' Pitti, 1. Discover the site
- The Iris Garden is located in Viale Michelangelo, 82.
- The Rose Garden is in Viale Giuseppe Poggi, 2.
- The Bardini Garden, Costa San Giorgio 2, Florence, Discover the site

- Did you know that: the entrance ticket to the Villa Bardini Garden is cumulative with the Boboli Garden and that entry is free for everyone every first Sunday of the month!
