Piazza Santa Croce – “Weihnachtsmarkt” | from 20 November to 22 December approximately

In the heart of Florence, in front of the splendid Basilica of Santa Croce, the German-style market called Weihnachtsmarkt Santa Croce is held every year. Florence Ice Village at the Fortezza da Basso | early December – early January

If you're looking for a Christmas experience that combines shopping, lights and fun, then don't miss the Florence Ice Village at the Fortezza da Basso: every year, an ice rink is set up that has been presented as the longest in Europe, with a track length of approximately 300 metres.

Empoli Xmas Village | from late November to early January

Empoli, about 30 km from Florence, transforms into a veritable ‘Christmas Town’ during the festive season. The historic centre hosts the Empoli Xmas Village, an event that combines markets, entertainment, light displays and attractions for all ages.
