By bike, Ape Calessino and along the Arno
Already seen Florence’s must-see sights? Try exploring the city from a different perspective. From hu Firenze camping in town, you can cycle along the Arno on a flat 6 km bike path, reaching the historic centre in around 20 minutes. Traditional bikes and e-bikes are also available to hire at the campsite.
For something different, hop aboard an Ape Calessino to discover famous landmarks, hidden streets and less touristy neighbourhoods. Or see Florence from the Arno with the traditional Renaioli boats, running from May to September on a 45-minute route beneath Ponte Vecchio and alongside the Uffizi.
When it’s time for a break, taste local flavours at Mercato Centrale, discover the creative side of Manifattura Tabacchi, or enjoy some green space at Parco delle Cascine.
